Virtual Design

Send over your room measurements, photos & dimensions of existing furniture pieces along with your budget and we’ll take it from there. After an initial video chat where we establish your aesthetic and functional goals, we’ll get to designing your space. Upon completion we’ll hand over a full roadmap for you to implement purchasing and furniture installation on your own.

Happy with the basics of your space but lacking that finished feel? The last 10% of a project can be tough to implement but makes a massive impact when you get it right. We can shop together for these accent pieces or you can send me on a solo mission. If you already have furniture and accessories to work with but can’t seem to find the right home for them I can stop by for a styling session.

the full service design process
01
Discovery design phase
To kick things off you’ll answer a questionnaire which digs into your design preferences and how you and your family aspire to live. From there we survey the space, determine budget, functional and aesthetic goals. KNI takes all the info gathered and begins designing your space.

conceptual DESIGN
Next we’re onto the fun part! KNI comes to our conceptual design meeting with floor plans, sketches, key finish and furniture options. You provide comments and we leave this meeting with a strong design direction, ready to get into all the details.

DETAIl design phase
Here’s where we get into the nitty gritty. We nail down each and every finish, millwork piece, fixture, furniture piece, fabrics, art and accessories. Once all items have been approved, we’re ready to kickoff any necessary construction and move begin the purchasing phase.

Purchase & installation
This is where our vision starts to become a reality. Once all design elements have been approved, KNI handles purchasing and installation for you. We’ll wrap things up with a reveal and a champagne toast to your new home and the memories you’re sure to make there.
